The Government's "Tell us Once" service - that lets people report a death to most government organisations in one go - now includes notification in relation to licences and permits.

The implications of this is that when someone registers a death through the "Tell us Once" service, they will now have the option to also notify licensing authorities, amongst others.

Licensing officers will need to speak to the person(s) responsible for accessing "Tell us Once" submissions because the submission portal will need regular checking.

It is anticipated that gov.uk will be updated in due course to refelct this change.
