The National Police Chiefs' Council have produced new messaging on what to do if you’ve been spiked.
In correspondence to police forces, the NPCC note stated:
"This messaging will enable potential victims of spiking, and their friends and family, to access clear advice about what to do and the benefits of reporting to the police. The messages are relevant to all victims of spiking.
This messaging – which has been co-created with representatives from the VAWG sector, higher education, health and the night-time economy – is being distributed to students via Universities UK and the Russell Group, and will be hosted on the key websites where people would search for information about spiking including NHS, police.uk and police force websites and Talk to Frank."
The NPCC have also asked police forces to publish the messaging on their own websites.
