Lessons learned: How to deliver effective regulation locally - National Audit Office Report

The National Audit Office has published an insight report on effective local regulation including the role of licensing as a regulatory tool.
The report brings brings together our learning and identifies eight areas for government departments and national regulators to consider when designing, delivering and improving regulation involving local regulatory delivery.
The report covers:
- Designing locally delivered regulatory systems;
- Effective delivery; and
- Learning and improvement.
