Following the Government announcement last night (16 March 2020), the Institute of Licensing will now take steps to review all training, meetings and events planned from the end of this week until the end of June 2020.
Delegates currently booked to attend affected courses will be contacted directly, and the IoL will look in each case at possible alternative training delivery options where practicable. Where necessary training and events will be postponed to a later date or cancelled and rearranged once restrictions are lifted and the country is out of the current crisis position.
IoL Chairman Daniel Davies said:
‘The current crisis has significant implications for organisations and businesses across the UK. We have been keeping the position under close review from the start and will now move decisively to support the Government’s position on social distancing. In the meantime, we will continue to support our members through regular updates and our publications, and we will be back to normal service as soon as we are able to do so.’
