The Gambling Commission have published FAQs aimed at helping operators manage compliance with Government Covid-19 guidance on re-opening.
From 15 June, betting shops in England were permitted to open. The FAQs are aimed at helping operators manage compliance with Government guidance on reopening with continued compliance with the Licence conditions and codes of practice (LCCP).
The FAQs include guidance on the Commission’s regulatory action, Gambling Act and LCCP requirements, risk assessments and staffing arrangements.
The Commission is also reminding operators they are still expected to continue to follow Customer Interaction guidance as doors are reopened to consumers.
