ambleAware has launched a new campaign to tackle the stigma around gambling harms, after research showed 75 per cent of those who experience problems with gambling don’t feel able to open up to family and friends.
The campaign aims to break the stigma by changing perceptions and shares real life stories from those who have experienced problems with gambling - in a bid to help more people open up and seek help. The GambleAware website has more information including help to spot the early signs of gambling harms, a self-assessment questionnaire, plus advice and support.
GambleAware has also produced a partner toolkit which includes social media posts, designed assets and more information which can be shared.
