County Lines drug gang jailed for 40 years after their taxi driver’s camera records all their conversations.
The Sun reported that the County Lines drug gang recruited cabbie Shahid Iqbal, 41, who transported drugs and dealers around for them between March 20 and July 22.
But Iqbal forgot to turn off his taxi dash cam while ferrying around the criminal - and recorded them boasting about their crimes.
In one clip Iqbal tells a young man to top up his phone with credit using money received from a drug deal.
“You'll get used to this one bro * You'll make some Ps * you'll make some money on this one *
“What I tell you innit, you be good with this guy, yeah, he'll look after you bro.”
More video showed Iqbal explaining to teenage boys what exactly they had to do to sell the drugs.
Inside the taxi, the police found evidence about vast amounts of footage detailing their drug dealing.
Police arrested 11 members of the gang who admitted their roles in the supply of drugs at Derby Crown Court on May 6.
Ten of the group were locked up for more than 40 years.
