Animal activities licensing: Amendments to guidance on Dog kennel boarding licensing Published Date: 26/04/2022

DEFRA has advised  of several revisions to the statutory guidance document for dog kennel boarding which have been made and published today (27th April 2022). The revisions are listed below for information:

Part A

  • Guidance for Condition 5.1 – Definition of a kennel removed to mirror the 2018 version.
  • Guidance for Condition 5.4 – Clarified the toileting requirements.

Part B

  • Guidance for Condition 7.6 – Clarified the exercise requirements
