Your role:
We are looking for an individual with significant administration experience and a demonstrable knowledge in relation to Licensing functions, and someone who can make a positive contribution to the team.
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic team, who are responsible for the processing and issuing of a variety of licences and registrations. You will provide advice and guidance to ensure customers and businesses are compliant with various legislation and policy requirements.
About you:
You will be knowledgeable and passionate about Licensing matters and keen to ensure compliance and promote public safety in Wigan.
You will be a confident and highly motivated individual, who is an excellent team player. You will also have
the confidence to work independently, displaying initiative and enthusiasm for change.
You will have varied administrative experience and be proficient using various IT systems and software.
You will have experience of providing excellent customer service and partnership working with internal and external organisations.
You will work closely with the existing Officers in the team to deliver an efficient and effective service to Customers, whilst adhering to” The Deal’ principles of the Council.
