The Strategic Alliance between High Peak Borough Council and Staffordshire Moorlands District Council has been in place for more than a decade. Technical Assistant (Pollution) x 2

Work Base: Buxton and Leek Agile working

Full time (37 hours per week)

Permanent position

£27,803- £33,024 per annum depending on qualifications and experience

(plus essential car user)

We are looking for several enthusiastic, reliable individuals to join our small but busy team. 

The posts for Technical Assistant will include a varied workload, including but not limited to the investigation of commercial/domestic nuisance, noise complaints and general enforcement work.

You must be competent with Microsoft Office and use of the internet and be an excellent communicator at all levels.

Knowledge of the CIVICA environmental health database is desirable.

You will be required to work out of hours on occasions; therefore, flexibility around working hours is essential, as is a full driving licence and use of a car for work.
