We are currently seeking an enforcement professional who will be working in the Public Protection team, with duties including:

About us:
Our Trading Standards department carries out a broad spectrum of Trading Standards functions through enforcement and advice as well as taking part in national projects and surveys. We are also the Primary Authority for a large multinational retailer.
As part of a small interactive team, you will have the opportunity to gain wide experience in the enforcement of a range of trading standards legislation.
Your primary roles will be in enforcing the provisions of the London and Local Authorities Act 1991 in relation to special treatment licences and the Animal Welfare Act 2006 in relation to licensing premises.
Trading standards service also play a critical role in creating a healthy economy by protecting legitimate businesses.
The Trading Standards service is part of the Public Protection team which also includes Food Safety, External Health and Safety enforcement and Licensing.
Essential for the Role:
You must possess an excellent knowledge of relevant legislation and have practical experience within licensing/enforcement work.
