Do you have the enthusiasm and excellent people skills to join our small busy team?

Rushcliffe Borough Council is a modern forward-thinking authority providing high quality services to over 112,000 people across South Nottinghamshire from our purpose built new office and leisure centre at Rushcliffe Arena.

Rushcliffe’s strapline ‘Great Place, Great Lifestyle, Great Sport’ highlights why it is has been named the best place to live in the region with many residents reiterating their belief it is a can do council, backed up by industry commercial and entrepreneurial awards.

You will be the Council’s lead on licensing matters and work within our small but busy licensing team and deal with all types of licence applications made to the Council including taxis, special treatments, animal licensing and liquor licensing.  You will also be involved in other enforcement work including enviro-crime and anti-social behaviour.

This is a great opportunity to develop your skills and career. Our package includes:

  • reduced membership fees of the onsite leisure centre;
  • free car parking;
  • varied working hours and remote-working opportunities;
  • an opportunity to further your career with a high performing forward looking Authority with training to support CPD and personal development;
  • Local Government pension scheme
  • Payment of relevant professional subscriptions
  • relocation package available for the right candidate.

Rushcliffe Borough Council supports flexible and part-time working in line with the needs of the business. We believe that embracing flexibility is a smart way of working and even more relevant given increased remote working as a result of COVID and ensures we can find and support the mix of talent and experience we need.
