The Challenge

The Safer Communities Service is recruiting for a Licensing Processing Officer.

The workload is varied and ever changing but for the right candidate provides an exciting opportunity to apply and develop your skills in a fast paced but supportive work environment confident that you are making a positive contribution.

Purpose of Role

• to provide high-quality, front line customer service
• to provide effective licensing administration and support services

The Candidate

• educated to at least GCSE level with passes in Mathematics and English language (Grade A-C/9-4) or equivalent qualifications or experience
• ability to quickly learn licensing regulation and related administrative processes
• ability to meet targets and work programmes.
• ability to work accurately and follow procedures/processes.
• good customer relations skills
• ability to effectively use ICT (Word, Outlook and Excel and in-house systems)
• good communication skills (verbal and written)
• knowledge of licensing regulation and related administrative processes desirable (whilst knowledge of licensing regulation and related administrative processes is preferable, this should not deter applicants from applying)
