The starting salary is £22,571.00 (Level One) rising to £23,953.00 (Level Two) on the first year anniversary, subject to satisfactory completion of a probation period (pro rata for part time workers).

Day to day activities include the processing of applications made under the Licensing Act 2003, Gambling Act 2005, Local Government (miscellaneous provisions) Acts 1976 & 1982, Animal Welface Act 2018 and Scrap Metal Dealers Act 2013 and where required to do so arrange hearings, produce legal hearing notices and reports.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
A working awareness, knowledge and understanding of Local Authority Licensing legislation, its application and processes.
Able to use Licensing legislation to support enforcement.
To have dealt with customers within a regulatory environment to promote legal requirements and good practice.
Able to plan and manage own workload to meet legislative and corporate deadlines.
An ability to use information technology as applied in the workplace.
