We’re seeking a Licensing Officer to join our professional and welcoming team.
You’ll lead on a range of activities around the Licensing Act 2003, Gambling Act 2005, skin piercings, street trading and children’s licensing. Working with partners including the TVP, Fire Service and the Home Office.
You’ll provide guidance to businesses and residents, administer applications, and lead on investigatory and enforcement work.
Candidates will be expected to have the drive and motivation to independently formulate and review policy, to create inspection programmes and the ability to lead on special projects.
Though a good knowledge base of the subject will be an advantage, motivation and an outstanding skill set will be considered.

Our roles are either designated ‘site based’ or ‘home based’. ‘Site based’ roles can include up to two days a week working from home whilst ‘home based’ roles are based at home four days a week. Of course, managers designate which category roles are in based on the needs of the service and the circumstances.
