What does a Licensing Officer do at Hillingdon?
This is an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic and friendly Licensing Team. It will involve playing a
key role in delivering the full range of the licensing activities.
The successful candidate will be competent and experienced in dealing with licensing systems,
such as the Licensing Act 2003; the Gambling Act 2005; Special Treatments; licensing of venues
under the Marriage Acts, street trading legislation and others.
About you
The successful candidate will possess excellent working knowledge and understanding of the
various legislative frameworks.
Furthermore, they will be able to show experience and involvement in its application to casework and
demonstrate partnership working, and identify how this has led to a successful outcome.
The ideal candidate will have an organised approach to their own workload whilst dealing with
conflicting priorities, a focus on delivering excellent customer service alongside experience of working
collaboratively with internal and external partners.
