About You
You will be responsible for granting and monitoring compliance with all licenses, registrations and associated conditions, as well as investigating complaints and undertaking enforcement action when appropriate. This will include premises licenses, gambling, street trading, hackney carriage and private hire, animal welfare, caravan sites and scrap metal dealers. You will also attend Licensing Hearings and Court, and give evidence and present reports to the Licensing Committee.
You will need to have recent and relevant experience of working in a related enforcement or compliance field, have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be pro-active and able to operate on your own initiative, and have a key eye for detail. But above all else, if you’re as committed to the safety and success of our local communities as we are then we want to hear from you.
