About the role

We are looking to recruit two licensing officers to support the council's licensing work and responsibilities.

You will support the Senior Licensing Officer and Team manager in administration of all relevant licensing functions including validating, processing and making decisions on licensing applications and, where appropriate, undertake consultation or mediation.

These licensing functions include alcohol/entertainment licensing, taxis and private hire vehicles, street trading, charity collections, sex establishments and all kinds of gambling establishments to name just a few.

We are ideally looking for applicants who are already familiar with the council's licensing, or similar work.
