LICENSING OFFICER

Grade 3 £24,702 - £26,421 pa
Full Time, Permanent

We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to join our Licensing team.  Ideally will have experience of working in a regulatory environment with knowledge of the full range of licensing legislation.

The successful candidate will be required to deal with queries from members of the public, process licensing application relating to a variety of licensable activities and liaise with other bodies and organisations who have a vested interest in licensable activities. Therefore, it is essential that you have good verbal and written communication skills. 

You must also have:

  • Experience of dealing with members of the public
  • The ability to work independently on your own initiative as well as part of a team
  • A high level of motivation, tact and discretion
  • Excellent IT skills
  • The ability to work to tight deadlines and follow procedures

The hours of work will be 37 per week and you must be willing to work flexibly to attend meetings.
