Salary: £45,305 to £51,765 (Inclusive of London Fringe Weighting)

We are currently seeking a Licensing Manager to oversee the Council’s busy licensing service.
Responsible for managing a specialist team and dealing with a wide variety of statutory licensing and
registration functions affecting businesses and other organisations throughout the borough, you will
work to ensure the continuing successful delivery of the Licensing service to our customers and
communities, building upon recent changes and incorporating new government policies and legislation
affecting the service area.

We offer a flexible/hybrid working environment and you will be able to work remotely for part of the
week. We are based at our modern and newly configured offices in The Forum in Hemel Hempstead
with staff parking available nearby.

This role would suit an experienced licensing officer who is unafraid of change and new challenges, and
looking for a varied and unpredictable workload. You should be confident, forward thinking and
committed to improving the way things work. You also need to be able to manage a team effectively
and work well as part of a team in addition to taking on individual responsibilities.
