Licensing enforcement Officer, Full-time; 36.25 hours per week
Band E, £25,991 - £29,577
North West Leicestershire sits in a central part of the country and is served by an excellent road network including the M1, M42 and A50, making it easily commutable from all surrounding areas. Half the district is covered by The National Forest making it a very desirable location to both live and work. The council benefits from being well managed financially and from having a coaching culture; underlining the people focus and an agile / flexible approach to work.
Within the district you will find an international airport (the UK’s largest cargo airport at that), this is next door to one of the country’s major motor sport and festival venues, Donington Park. The successful candidate will get the opportunity to be a key part of making sure events, attracting tens of thousands of people, are safe and run smoothly. Other areas of work are taxi licensing, gambling licensing, street trading and charitable collections
Applications are welcomed from experienced Licensing Enforcement Officers who are either seeking a fresh challenge or to further their career.
