The Licensing Apprentice will be joining a supportive learning environment and working alongside colleagues within the Consumer and Public Protection Licensing Service. You will be participating in investigations and assisting licensing officers with reporting, applications & inspections of business premises. This is an ideal opportunity to gain exposure across a variety of service functions and complete a Regulatory Compliance Officer Level 4 qualification.

They provide enforcement services that engage and protect residents and businesses to support a safer and healthier borough.

About the role
To be working in a supported learning environment contributing to the Consumer and Public Protection Licensing Service, which advises businesses, process license applications and permits and takes enforcement action where appropriate. The team seeks to ensure that the Licensing Trade are operating within the requirements of the appropriate legislation. This is a training role within a designated area where the apprentice will work alongside colleagues and remotely to undertake a range of supervised duties (direct and indirect supervision). You will complete a Regulatory Compliance Officer Level 4 qualification which will enhance your knowledge, skills and abilities and help you progress in your future career.
