The Planning & Environmental Health Team is integral to that Vision as it protects and enhances the community, whether that’s leading the way with our Local Plan (currently with the Secretary of State for examination), developing a Design Code for the borough, supporting hundreds of local businesses to operate safely or through our commitment to improving air quality in Elmbridge.
As the Head of Planning & Environmental Health at Elmbridge you will lead one of the busiest planning departments in the country and support over 70 colleagues from planning, licensing and environmental health, determined to do their very best for both the community and their colleagues.
Your leadership will ensure your team continues to positively impact the Elmbridge community in support of both our 2030 Vision and our transformation programme.
You will be focussed on achieving the best outcomes for both the organisation and for Elmbridge. You will do all of this as part of our strong Leadership Team playing a role in key decisions across the organisation.
